Before you connect

A few practical
details.

Open the help guide
Do I install the app on both devices?

Only the PC you want to control needs the host app: Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. On your other computer or phone, log in to the web viewer in a browser. You can also use the Windows desktop app as a viewer.

Does the remote PC need to stay on?

Yes. Keep it powered on and awake, with hosting running. Closing the idle app window leaves the installed hosting service running. Reopen the interface from its tray icon.

Can I connect without the Hub?

Web and mobile connections use the Hub to establish access. Previously paired Windows desktop devices can use optional direct LAN/VPN access on a private network. Enable it on the host and configure the network and firewall first. This direct mode is not available in the web viewer.

How do I manage who can connect?

Use the host’s password, pairing, and permission settings. Review paired devices and revoke access you no longer want. Only connect to computers you own or have permission to access.

Do I need to enroll again after an update?

No. Updates preserve the device’s identity and existing enrollment. Use the complete installer to update the app’s components together. Follow the download and setup guide.
